Kate Bowles is Associate Dean (International) in the Faculty of Law Humanities and Arts at the University of Wollongong Australia, and the former Head of Education Design at UOW. In her governance work, she focuses on the structural pressure placed on open pedagogy by higher education business practices, particularly those involving labour, design standards and quality assurance.
