SUMMARY;LANGUAGE=en-gb:make and break\; exploring the margins through creative practice [O-090]
DESCRIPTION:Room: G009\nTrack: Geopolitics\nSession Description\nCreative practice has long been used a way to problem-solve\, think and critically analyse dominant knowledge-structures\, 'opening' and re-presenting these in different ways.\nThis multimodal presentation shares a creative process where poetry is used as a way to collaboratively explore a specific educational space. Formal verse is used to create different patterns of understanding this known space as alternative space. Subsequently the formal verse patterns are broken and refigured\, bringing new ideas to both 'known' and 'marginal' and blurring the lines between the two. Participants are invited to create their own key starting points as part of a pantoum of their known 'open'.\nReferences\nDebord\, G.\, 1957.
